Storytellers

Hope Wilder tells true stories and mostly true jokes in Durham, NC. She teaches storytelling classes and hosts open mics in collaboration with Story Connection. She's written an instructional book, started an alternative school, and has has 17 years of teaching experience. She will be a featured storyteller at the online portion of the 2026 Women's Storytelling Festival. In her free time she enjoys playing the cello, walking Eno River trails, and read-aloud time with her husband Chris and two cats.
